Quick Overview
Caecilia is my Draugr-Druid OC from a custom Dungeons and Dragons campaign.
The first step was to model and texture the bust in Zbrush. For the hair I used Fibermesh.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, portraits are used to indicate the status of a character. Those were used as inspiration and reference.



Progress
The facial structure was roughly blocked in using deformed and shaped spheres, prior to working out the details of the face.
To create the hair, the Fibermesh was first generated and then divided into several polygroups. These individual strands were then shaped and colored one by one with groom brushes and the move tool.

The last step was to rig the upper body with a simple ZSphere Rig to slightly rotate the head position, after which various brushes were used for texturing.

The final render was used for ability cards and a character sheet!
